Imagine this painting, dreamy, soft, brushed against slightly yellow japanese bamboo paper. A girl gazes at you as she floats nearer to shore, all eyes on you as she softly palms the sand. Drenched hair, seaweed on skin, wet lashes, eyes still locked. The waves seem gentle near her, but you know there is a tsunami in the far distance, and it's getting nearer by the second, yet you can't take your eyes off her's. Its the calm before the storm, the good before the bad. She moves slow as she tries to stabilize herself, lips parting, you hear a breath. Then you think to yourself, she must be a mermaid, because those eyes are bewitching, cunning and sly motives hiding behind hypnotizing eyes. She's naked but covered by hair and seaweed. The sky looks grey from the corner of your eyes, but you can't be sure because colours seem vivid around her.
Have to draw this. Inspired by Ikenaga Yasunari.
Also, should I join the Writer's Club?
