Woke up nice and chill on the tatami floor omg ARGH CMON i have to sleep another time at another ryokan!!! Must! I kept thinking of clique and i in japan. Ah i swear i would be smiling so much more.
Ate traditional japanese breakfast again and prepared to go off. The salmon was super nice man omg and it was qq and salty. Too salty maybe.
And this morning, i rushed down with my luggage to go to the souvenir shop to buy my geta sandals! They had a few designs, all only one size and quite cheap. 1200Y or 1300Y. I think i got the 1300Y one eh. I flipped all the sandals upside down cause there were different sandal shapes eh. Some heel bigger some smaller. Tried to get one as geisha as possible >:D
Sat on a long bus ride towards the fifth level of mt fuji. Stopped at a pit stop and IT WAS FREEZING MOUNTAIN AIR :DDDD
Getting off at mt fuji fifth level was like genting multiplied by 5 :o it even got colder and colder in the bus and my ears got blocked frequently. Ah but i didnt even get carsick. I guess its the bus. I cant tolerate genting buses. Why am i always referencing genting....
That fifth level place was a super cute and chilly little town! It was raining and super windy, so i ran into the souvenir shop with my umbrella. Chilly fingers already! Walked around and i didnt find much that i liked except for more geta sandals. And this time, they are PROPER GEISHA SANDALS. But around 1800Y, cheat my money lah... I think i'll keep my money for another pair of sandals in kyoto, the land of geisha :3 In this shop, nick bought a boob.. No really, a boob. A squishy boob. A mini ball boob, hahahahahha. Damn gay, he dont dare to buy it eh. Lol.
Went into the other shops and there was another souvenir shop and i found something that i was telling my hro about! A katana lookalike umbrella! :'D i saw one being sold in Don Quixote in Akihabara, but it wasnt there in the shibuya one we went. (neither did i go akiba, i saw it online ^^)
I took the black shiny sword and swung it at nick. 2200Y. Buy. Definitely. Hahahahha. Now i am excited to bring umbrellas to school on a rainy day. Walked out. I am wearing my long starry swimsuit material pants, and it was so damn cold that long pants didnt help how cold my pants got. HAHAHHA. I keep sleeping on bus rides. We were not headed down the mountain. Guide wanted us to hear the mt fuji song on the road, which i only heard faintly. Its the kind of song that would get creepy at night. No actually, its creepy. Sounds like it was made for people to die on the mountain, and not in commemoration of the mountain LOL. I fell asleep somwhere after that. Stopped somewhere, not syre whats the name ah but Oshino something. Took a 10m walk in the blazing rain. YES OMG i just said blazing rain. Waoza. (you know why its blazing rain? Yeah its rainy season right now in japan, but the thing is, there is a typhoon coming our way! In fact, its coming up on japan, and we're travelling down. Down. Against the wind and typhoon!! Guide said that the peak would be tonight. Stopping at nagoya tonight. I will write here again so that you know that i havent been blown off)
The walk to oshino hakkai (the shop's name) was colourful and dreary. (is dreary a word..?) there were many flowers and ponds and all, but it was all wet and some lower grounds were flooding and i had to hop from part to part :B took lots of pictures there. The scenery there is super good lah, it would be better if the air cleared up a little, cause then i would be eating ramune ice cream watching mt fuji. Ah yes i bought ramune ice cream (soda flavour) and a dragon necklace. Ramune is actually a traditional drink often given at festivals. Its kind of like a treat to the japanese, that long bottle of fizzy water. They twist the cap and push down and the water fizzes then they gulp it all down! If im not wrong. I watch it on Cartoon KAT-TUN hahaha you see, fangirling has its useful sides. Koki kept saying 'Ahhh, ramune da!' hahahah. The walk back with an umbrella, camera slung on neck and icey blue ramune ice cream in my hand was crazy. I was trying to balance and agar everything while trying to not get wet......... I ended up stepping on a deep puddle right in front of a tour bus. Aye. My shoes are now cold and chilly. Nevermind, its japan rain. Anything japan is good. Hahahah.
We were supposed to go to factory outlet today, but due to the heavy rain, we were scared that the highway to nagoya would close after we were done shopping. If it closes, we'll have to walk with luggage, umbrella, battling the wind, rain, cold, HAHAHAHAHA. sounds fun. But i dont my luggage to get wet. Everything would leak through the cloth zippers. So anyway, right how we are on the highway to nagoya where we're gonna stop for the night before continuing to osaka.
Highway, kon ya wa yami ni blah blah blah. Go listen to Highway by Tegomass! Its stuck in my head right nowza. Okbai, will update tonight.
Update: ok lah, typhoon wasn't as bad as expected. Wanted it to be memorable but erm ok. Hotel was GORGEOUS. international hotel nagoya.
During the night me and bro wanted to buy a drink from the vending machine. Couldn't find bedroom slippers so bro walked out barefoot while I wore my geta sandals. Ended up at the lobby and nick was hiding around behind pillars HAHAHAH because he was barefoot a hahahahah.
Ok anyway we didn't find a vending machine. Bye.
