ootd + work

i actually have time for this!!!!!!!!!!?!??!?!

currently in the library waiting for my 3:00 class while trying to do a lil work. i have one and a half hours more. ample time.

so here's an OOTD. HAHA. because i like today's outfit. in the morning i was like, let's wear something i look great in. i thought of this outfit that i wore before. then i wanted to dress up a lil more.
so i wore my japan tattoo tights!!! woopdedoo i think this is the first thing i'm wearing something from my japan haul that you haven't already seen yet. cause it's the first time i'm wearing it anyway.

 fav kitty crop top, mango shorts, black cardi as some sort of an awkward but cool skirt haha.

 the cardi makes my legs look longer wtf /favourites
and people do stare at my shin from afar, probably because i look like i have got a barcode tat on my leg HAHA

 i've had this wave in my hair since forever. but look now, it's so obvious! with my poodle ears and all, haha it looks like there's this non-existent wind around me.
p/s: THAT GUY PHOTOBOMBED ME. he's smiling too. oh, the setbacks of camwhoring in the library. in a public place hm.

 held-back laugh wtf. i dont remember what i was feeling shy about. probably embarrassment.

 they make my legs looks flawless in pics but it's actually just a few skintones lighter than my skin. i guess my legs are pretty tanned compared to the average japanese. it looks too light in real life.

i just realized that i have become many different types of animals over the past few months.
still remember my octopus post o_o

a'ight, imma try to get back to work! pretty slack now that consultation with arsed kristine is done. all that's left is..... EVERYTHING O_O

I have to:

by tonight

-finish concept board and perspective board by tonight, probably do-able. reprint finalized sketch and paste onto concept board. draw up close ups and include details. 

-sketch sketchy sketches for perspective board.

overall

-buy props (wire mesh, tulle, gauze, wires)
-get fabric from jennifer (white cotton, chiffon, tulle maybe?, crinoline maybe?, really soft soft soft weak pathetic off-white/cream cotton, and finally some baby pink, blue, cream, teal, black and lilac polyester for making roses.) (cotton has to be heavy-ish so it wont jut upwards!
-construct an actual petticoat with the wire mesh/gauze hopefully
-sew up the skirt itself. gathers at the top, poufy from middle down. AH i need an elastic band! and maybe an invisible zipper?
-paint the skirt, watercolour the underlayer(s) with hints of brown, cream, pastels, paint a little glitter.
-paint the glitter tiger stripes on the torso. try out on a spare board or something. figure out how to apply UHU glue right and how to put in the glitter
-make barbed wire with the wire. fold wire in half, twist till tight, at curved spikes, attach roses on. (for barbed wire roses, use brown or black cloth!)
-attach barbed wire to petticoat.
-figure out how to attach petticoat to torso. velcro, maybe?
-make like 30 roses whenever you're free and have access to fire.


oh look i just did work on my blog. okay anyway guys if this seems like a lot, i only have 6 DAYS to do all this and execute/install my window display/torso up. i can act confident about all this but im worried my act will fall through and reveal that i actually dont know why im doing any of this. there is no motive in my work. i forgot about the 'why' when i was constructing my idea. it's too late to change now, though.

ah, not to mention, i have another subject while this goes on. photoshop.
i am 2 assignments behind. great.
