Anime Matsuri @ Funan Digitalife Mall

Hello Sunday!!! I was expecting myself to finish up my assignment (due tmr) for the whole day today, but it's June 2nd! It's the last day the Anime Matsuri Event is gonna be open, and i HAVEN'T BEEN TO MMK CAFE. Not even once during AFA ;A;

And so i really really really wanted to go cause it's my 'last chance'! I don't know when the next event will be, and if it's AFA then that's going to be in November.....
So then the next problem- no one to accompany me... Amanda (bff) was up to her neck with work and she couldn't come so like i just randomly posted on facebook if anyone wanted to go with me. Xingrui commented!!! And then fb messaged me! And then we JUST SETTLED. Ahahhaha how spontaneous, i've only met her once before at News Live Concert screening!

So then we met at 4 and walked to Funan. Lots of people stared at me on public transport. Like, a little more than usual... I haven't grown used to it. In fact it's gotten a bit more nerve-wrecking than before ;-; somedays i feel like wrapping myself like an onigiri and rolling around

Anyway! I was so nervous on the way >A<
Tora/Veronica and I have been talking on the net for a while and she was anticipating me to come and i DIDN'T FOR LIKE 5 DAYS.
And this afternoon i didn't tell her when i planned to come and i went and bought sweets and queued for mmk! I hope i surprised her lololol but then again it's hard not to catch a real pink head walking around right?
Tora led us to our seats; she's sooooo cute in real life! Cuter than in the pics! Because I got to see her smile and hear her voice and her TEETH R THE CUTEST. i sound like a creeper omg

I bought the Spirited Away hard candies from the japanese snacks booth and i couldn't open it. And since Xingrui liked Ren i asked her to ask him to help open for us when he walks by HAHAHA IT WAS HILARIOUSLY CUTE. He tried opening at our table and failed then he went it to the back room and brought it back out and opened it like magic.

We got to talk to him quite a lot eheheheh i told him that the hairsalon i go to is near his workplace~

Before we queued for the cafe we walked a bit to see the area. It's not very huge but there were a bunch of cosplayers and photographers alike. And then after I bought my sweets, one guy asked if he could take a photo of me. That was soooo nice. Like that's the first time it's happened to me, of course I'm happy! Plus i'm not even cosplaying.. :)

And then when i stood so he could take photos one other guy came in and started taking photos too, and then another AND THEN ANOTHER. I've read uncomfortable cosplayer stories but i've never experienced one and even though it's weird I WAS STILL KINDA HAPPY HAHA. The first few times are always the best.

Speaking of which it reminded me of being streetsnapped, bahahaha +1 experience!
But thinking back, i totally forgot to pose correctly fml. Like, i kinda blanked out and was stiff. just stood there. I could feel the ugly on my face T_T plus i didn't cross my legs that means so illusionary extra height for meee

When we left the cafe we took a photo *w* i took one with Tora and Xingrui took one with Hiroshi cause she started noticing him more when he disturbed her while we sat and ate and chatted. So cute so cute everything was so cute.

We walked around a lot, staring at cosplayers and photographers doing their thing, shopped a bit, got photographed a bit more, then went upstairs to scope a bit. I wanted to take a photo with most of the maid/butler cafe before i left but then i loitered around hesitantly cause i was too shy to go back there and asked if i could take a photo ;_;

And then xingrui pulled me there and i looked around a bit at what they're doing and Tora came out! And then i took a pic with her! ♡

So that's it, oh my god i LOVED today. It was so worth going out one day before submission. Like literally this benefited me more than getting a good grade
I'm pretty sure i'd get a good grade anyway, i just have to not sleep tonight 8D

We played the japanese word game Magical Banana on the train ride home!
You start off by saying something like, "Majikaru banana to ittara, kiiro" which means 'if you say, banana, then it's yellow!'
You can also say it's long, or it's a fruit, or something. And from kiiro(yellow), the next person says
"Kiiro to ittara, himawari!" (if you say yellow, then it's sunflower!)

And the chain goes on and on! IT WAS SO FUN. I'm going to miss XR because i don't know when's the next time i'll see her. She's in a Year 1 IT course in SP.

Will someone play Magical Banana with me???? It's so fun.
