Aye!

Hi guys!
Lilac tips. (Do I look like a hot guy?)

The past two days have been cray. New experiences, new space, new people, new work, all that.
This monday I woke up bright and early for my first day at Bosch! Not impressed by the building or the spacial interior of Triumph, everything is so minimal and basic. The room where us 4 interns work in is small and empty and the tables aren't big enough and there's too much fabric and materials to store after the first day.
After the job briefing we realized that most of the design and actual outfit outcome of the fashion show pieces will be up to us... They prepared rather brief concepts and asked us to make it happen, technically...... We're gonna be working on lingerie that cost up to 300 a piece. Gosh can I also mention that there are a few g-string show pieces that are absolutely unbelievable????? Holes and gaps at all the wrong places, those pieces were more for costume purposes.

There are a total of 5 sets of outfits for the show. Each set has about 3 to 5 outfits. Each outfit has about 100-300 rhinestones worth of embellishments that we need to attach. About 3-5 outfits require a floor-length cape - to be sewn and appliqued. Not forgetting the accessories with each look and the decoration involved.... Pretty sure 4 interns and 2.5 weeks are nowhere near enough for this to happen.

I found a bunch of pretty, ambitious, leader-able women in this office. Admirable but scary most of the times. Sitting in the office is straining.

I don't get to see the sun on my skin, I don't get to feel the breeze, I don't even get to see branches sway, or to know whether or not it's raining right now. Our room is stuffy and isn't air-conditioned, but it's pretty cold. Strange. We're stocking or enclosed 2nd home with biscuits and food and sweaters. And chargers and maybe laptops, but most probably a sewing machine.

Glad to be an intern here; glad to be part of this event; glad to be with Beatrice, Jasmine and Melissa; and most of all I'M SO GLAD THE OFFICE IS JUST RIGHT ROUND MY NEIGHBORHOOD. I could stroll to work in 15 minutes, and run in 7, and take a bus in 5 if there's no wait. And 3 minutes tops by car. Sooooooo refreshing instead of the usual 1 hour to school.

There's a lot of work to do, I don't think I'd write it all down, and I'm constantly thinking about it even after work hours, and it's pretty useless since I'm not getting paid to do any work outside of the office so srsly andrea, no point doing work at home...

Sunday
Took some passport photos at home because my most recent one didn't look recent enough. Needed them for JLPT exam registration.

I registered for the N2 level!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

P/S: The Japanese Language Proficiency Test has a total of five levels.
N5, N4, N3, N2, N1
N5 is the easiest, for beginners. Japanese basics. N1 tests on japanese literature, but most jap organizations only require an N2 from foreign workers.

I didn't score distinctions for my N4, and I am entirely skipping N3..................... I just need a pass for my N2 ><
Bunka college needs their international students to hold JLPT N2 certs >< hahhahahahaha yes i srsly just hope I can pass. I'd have to pay another $67 if I don't, for the next exam. ;-;

It's strange calling myself a foreign worker......

Ok red eyed pink hair girl is lazy now imma go to bed already even though it's midnight. I have to get up at 8 latest :s
